Convince your teacher to include bats as a science subject in class.

I asked my zoology teacher if we could do a lesson or two on bats. He ended up adding bats to the list of mammals we were studying and spent the rest of the semester studying them along with the other animals in the lesson plan.
When I got interested in bats, my mother added them to my science class!
